Core Values

 

1.      Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength is the highest priority in a believers life.

·         (Matt 22 : 37-38 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.

2.       Flowing from this relationship with God a believer gains a genuine heart for all people, for one another, and for those outside the kingdom of God.

·         (Matt 22 : 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.')

 

3.        Reaching out to those around us with the hope we have in Jesus Christ is a normal part of a believers every day life.

·         (Mark 16:15-16 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.)

 

4.        Prayer is a vital part in the life of every believer.

·         (Eph 6:18 Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.)

 

5.       Every believer has been gifted by God to be a minister in His body.

·         (1 Cor. 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.)

 

6.        Regular time in Gods Word enables us to be challenged by the Holy Spirit to conform to the likeness of Christ Jesus.

·         (2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.)
